今回は、熊本県小国町にある「杖立温泉 元湯」と大分県九重町にある「壁湯温泉 福元屋」に行ってきました♨️
杖立温泉 元湯は、神功皇后が応神天皇を出産した際の”産湯”として用いたと伝えられる歴史ある小さな露天風呂。
子宝に恵まれる温泉としても知られ、ひっそりしつつもパワーを感じる場所でした。
壁湯温泉 福元屋は、1907年創業の川沿いに佇む風情あるお宿。どこか懐かしい日本の風景を思わせます。
名物である「天然洞窟風呂」は、300年以上も前から自然に湧き出している自噴温泉。風呂は混浴で、ぬるめのお湯は、柔らかく、ゆったりと長湯を楽しめます。
これから暑さが増す夏の季節にもぴったりな、涼やかな温泉です🎐

This time, we went to “Motoyu,” located in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, and “Fukumotoya,” located in Kokonoe Town, Oita Prefecture.
Motoyu is a small open-air bath with a long history, and is said to have been used by Empress Jingu as a “birthing bath” when she gave birth to Emperor Ojin.
Known as a hot spring blessed with fertility, it is a secluded yet powerful place.
Kabeyu Onsen Fukumotoya, established in 1907, is a charming inn located along the river. It evokes a nostalgic Japanese landscape.
The famous “natural cave bath” is a naturally gushing hot spring that has been gushing out naturally for more than 300 years. The bath is mixed bathing, and the lukewarm water is soft enough to enjoy a long, relaxing soak.
This cool hot spring is perfect for the coming hot summer season.
