温泉としては600年以上、温泉旅館としても230年以上の歴史誇る鉛温泉・藤三旅館。
その風格ある総けやきづくりの建物内には、「白猿の湯」「桂の湯」「白糸の湯」「銀の湯」の4つの浴場があり、すべて源泉100％かけ流しの温泉です。
今回は「白猿の湯」に入浴しました。昔の混浴文化が残るこちらの浴室は、湯船の深さが平均1.25mもある立居浴専用の温泉です。
天然の岩を「湯量が豊富なこの温泉で贅沢に楽しんでいただきたい。」そんな一心で、人力で掘って造った湯船です。

Lead Onsen and Fujisan Ryokan boast more than 600 years of history as a hot spring and more than 230 years as a ryokan.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city.
Inside the elegant zelkova building are four bathhouses: Shirasaru-no-yu, Katsura-no-yu, Shiraito-no-yu, and Gin-no-yu, all of which are 100% spring-fed.
This time, I bathed in “Shirasaru-no-yu. This bathhouse, where the mixed bathing culture of the past still remains, is a hot spring exclusively for standing baths, with the average depth of the bathtub being 1.25 meters.
The natural rocks are “to be enjoyed in the luxury of this hot spring with its abundant supply of hot water.” With this in mind, the bathtubs were dug by hand.
