霧島市牧園町高千穂、丸尾自然探勝路「目の湯 (12番湯)」。霧島の大自然を満喫できる丸尾自然探勝路入口付近にある天然の露天岩風呂。「12番湯」とも呼ばれる霧島、牧園の岩風呂としては最古のもので『霧島最古の岩風呂』の看板も掲げられてあります。浴槽底から湧出する温泉で泉質、適応症などは未確認の為不明。季節、時期によって色や温度(36℃～59℃)が変わります。

Mine-no-yu (12th hot spring)” in Maruo Shizen Tanshoro, Takachiho, Makizono-cho, Kirishima City. This is a natural open-air rock bath located near the entrance to the Maruo Nature Trail, where you can fully enjoy the great nature of Kirishima. It is the oldest rock bath in Kirishima and Makien, and there is a signboard that reads “Kirishima’s oldest rock bath. The hot spring water gushes from the bottom of the bathtub, and the quality of the spring water and indications are unknown because they have not yet been confirmed. The color and temperature (36°C-59°C) change depending on the season and time of year.
